GDXL has been focusing on the R&D and fabrication of molds for PET packaging since its establishment. So far, the company has acquired over 200 patents for invention, utility model and appearance on container designs and mold products, raising values for customers. The company has also obtained numerous awards from partners, industry associations and the government. GDXL plays an important role in development of the industry by possessing a provincial engineering center and an enterprise technology center. GDXL’s team of expertise can accomplish over 2,000 R&D projects and nearly 3,000 feasibility analysis projects every year.
Laboratory and Testing Centers
GDXL’s laboratory has been certified by Coca-Cola, Pepsi-Cola and Danone as one of their third party laboratories since 2011, 2017 and 2019 respectively. It is equipped with over 60 advanced inspection and testing instruments including laser interferometer, three-dimensional laser scanner, tri-linear coordinate measuring instrument, gas chromatograph, intrinsic viscosity tester, oxygen permeability tester, carbon dioxide retention tester, barrier layer inspector, 3D printer, and X-ray detector, etc. Some of the instruments are independently developed by GDXL and patented. The company is capable of providing full set of inspection services in the course of PET packaging projects for its customers or as a third-party, as well as offering lab training courses.
GDXL has testing centers for molding of preform, bottle and closure, producing samples for R&D objectives. With a professional platform and a strong team of experts, GDXL keeps innovating and improving its products and services to create higher values for customers.
Till today, over 60,000 cavities of blow molds and over 35,000 cavities of preform molds have been applied in customers’ factories for production all over the world, with products including:

Moreover, GDXL has the first laboratory in the industry to attain accreditation of ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). It has undertaken several national PET packaging R&D projects and participated in the drafting of the national standard for PET blow molds.
